I really like the picture. The one on the left is mine, and I took the picture after I finished detailing the black one.

I use Pinnacle and Sonus products. I do the swirl removal and polishing with a 7424, and apply sealant and wax by hand.
In case you don't know what a 7424 is, it's this:

I actually enjoy detailing my car. Sure, it won't stay all nice and shiney forever if it's driven, but it's better than collecting dust in the garage. I take satisfaction in seeing my car clean, and am willing to devote the time and sweat to keep her that way.

She's 13-years-old and still has the "new-car" smell. :D

I think most people enjoy cleaning thier car, if its a car they like. How many miles on the 7?

^Yeah, I like to drive her. I originally intended on purchasing a low-milage R1 or R2 as a collector's-peice, but I decided that I would rather enjoy the car myself than spend the money on it and save it for someone else.

^Yeah, it really does still have the new car smell. No shit! She's got some miles on her, but she's very well-preserved.
