I recently bought keyless remote fobs on e-bay for my 2006 Impala 3.5 and would appreciate if anyone knew the codes or sequences to match these to my car. Thanks.

it says in the owners manual how to re-sync the remote to the vehicle, but i dont think you can use any old remote, i think they have to be the original ones, or have identical coding TO the originals.

First, you need to have ALL of the transmitters you want programmed to the vehicle with you (up to eight), because programming erases the cars memory of any previously learned transmitters (Fobs).

Here we go.......

On the DIC (Driver Information System) there are four buttons; the second one down is Vehicle Information.

With the ignition on and the engine off, press the Vehicle information button repeatedly, until PRESS TO RELEARN REMOTE KEY is displayed. Press the Set/Reset button ONCE (It's the one all the way down, looks like a check-mark). The display will say REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE.

Now take the first remote transmitter, press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons at the same time for about 15 seconds. A chime will sound indicating the transmitter has been learned. Repeat this process for the next transmitter until all have been learned.

Turn the ignition off.

If any do not program, check the batteries.
