Well consider I bought a stock 93 5.0 mustang and had been racing for a while prior. So driving wasn't a thing and before I started with the mods I raced a 3.8 Camaro and it was damn near dead lock til 70MPH or so. So I am sorry to say your very much mistaken. However I in all honesty must point out that the 5.0 IMO has way more potential for ripping up a 1/4 than a 3.8 camaro.

it doesn't hurt their cause that you can get 5.0 performance parts for like... $50 each :lol:

ya i agree. and he said any chevy v6 will not beat a gt mustang? um i know for a fact that my friends s-10 extream 4.3 vortec v6 will beat a stock gt mustang. i saw him beat it.

i would have to see it to beleive it. an s 10 beating a 5.0. maybe my gt had a 460 and i didnt know it , cause there isnt a stock s 10 on the planet that would take it.

man i had a looooong crazy summer that paid off for me.... got a chance of a lifetime to go to 3 countries with one of the doc's at my job to show off some new research we have been doing at the cancer center i work at. been gone for over 3 months, but i had a blast! but im back! and first thing on my list is a big b.s. flag. do we have a b.s. smiley?? we need one on here john, but to stay on topic (my bad, and yes this will be a phillyrs long ass post lol) 3.4 camaro = cant beat rs eclipse = beat down by 5.0 unless - 3 bring down the 2, the 5.0 is running as a 3.1 or has no engine and was pushed down hill. my 3.8 at first could keep up with a 5.0 and beat some of the un moded or old beat up ones....now after the mods, they were lunch all day..i could run with ls1 cars as long as they werent stupid moded out lol. as for the race, u guys line em up an duke it out, then cum back and let us know how it went. we all love false stories of races that really didnt happen but this is how it "would" have went! oh yeah and im back bitches!!

Anyway, yeah I remember going by Jersey over the summer in my Camaro.. and stopped by John's house.. I asked him if he wanted to race and he was like "Oh yeah" with a stupid smirk.

Man we lined up and although John had alot of wheelspin, my tractionable 3.1 got the best of him, before John ran into the little boy walking his dog and that is why he now must replace his hood and front bumper, along with pay a hefty fee for the dog's funeral.

dude that is so freaking sweet...i had a entire thread about where i went...and the shit went downhill just as well lol....thats funny as hell. well im back and i wont be gone anymore, drvgstorm was here in tampa for the summer visiting his dad i know he was a lifegaurd making money before he had to go back to school. i didnt even get to see him, we had a race we didnt even get to.....ill have to give dave a call. but i miss being here, u never know how much fun u have here, untill u leave for a little bit...man the laughs we all have lol
