Simple thing to try...pull the door panel and whack on the motor with a hammer...may get it moving. But it will probably fail again soon. I've tried pulling the motor off the gear box , then cleaning and lubing it - but it only lasted 5 days. Ususally have to pull motor/gearbox and regulator out, then put a new motor/gearbox in the regulator. Also, don't unbolt the gear box from the regulator until you've drilled a hole in the regulator arms and bolted them together. I think the gearbox wears too much for the power of the motor. Search "power window". Here is one with pics....

i have a '96 windstar and i had the same problem, when you pull the panel off,if it is not the motor as mentioned, there is a track toward the back of the door that the glass rides up and down in.there was a rivet that just rusted and let go,it actually dropped down into the bottom of the door.i just reached in and got it and got a new one from the dealer and if i remember correctly it was about $15 dollars.replacing was easy, one bolt i think.the hardest part is getting the door panel off, which was easy than most i have had to pull off, phillips screws and lift up.by the way, after i replaced one,the other side did the same thing in a couple of months.
