i was pulling out of a drive, and i see this blue light on a white car, so i figure oh, ford crown vic...whats he doing behind me? the lights look sort of similar..so i was like whatever..cop, drive slow..

then the fucker starts to tail me!! hes driving so close i can only see his hood, cant see his headlights/blue light.. and im like oh what a fucker..

i majke a right turn, he floors it right after i make the turn...

its a white mustang. -_-

mustangs are defnetely not slow cars.. slower than LS1s but that doesnt mean they are slow cars..

before l owned this mustang l still respected them because l knew they were faster than many cars on the street. l love f-bodies, l love mustangs..l just dont like imports but l dont say imports are slow.. some of them are very fast.

I haven't seen any cop Mustangs around here, I've only seen one 'Maro for that matter.

Our station has a b4c (?) Police package camaro. Its really nice and i think its an 02. The DARE progarm has a thrid gen and a older corvette that are cool too. We even still have a couple caprices going around. Have yet to see any mustangs though.

We had a Cop Concept Charger going around here for awhile.
Dunno what they did with it though.

I saw a Charger cop car the other day in Saginaw, MI and there is a black 05 Mustang in Midland, MI

Wow , what the hell happened here. Not all mustangs are fast and not all Camaros are fast. I would like to see anyone claim a 2.3 84 Mustang was anything special on the street or strip but the same can be said of most 2.8 Camaro's out there. So while a blanket statement like all Mustangs are fast or slow can't be said a mutual respect isn't a bad thing. Personally I think the new stangs are packing some balls. Which is cool but to each person terms like Fast and quick mean something else. To some people a low 13 second car isn't fast or quick. So to them yes a LS1 F-body is slow. Terms like fast or slow or nice or ugly are all subjective so lets not let anyone elses opinion be taken personally. In the same token lets make note that this is Automotive forums and not a car specific forum so what we said might be taken the wrong way from another type of car owner and we should maybe try to be a little more giving in our opinions. Oh, well I don't think this will require a lock at this point but will be keeping a eye out.

the back seat on the cav's fold down, so put some raw fish in his truck, he will be pissed and will no be able to find where the smell is comming from.lol. or get in his car and turn the raido up all the way, turn the wipers on high, turn his flashers on, just screw with every thing you can think of so when he starts his car, he will flip out,lol

You kinda make me think twice sometimes and I realize your happy with your new car and all but while you may be bitching about what a member said about Mustangs look at your sig and I can point you to many sources of reference that have gotten stock LT1 F-bodys to run damn near what most claim the new stang runs. So while we show you the respect you like. I would think someone who claims LT1 F-bodys are slow would be forgiving of such critism and that guy in that other forum was talking about Mustang AOD which doesn't apply to F-body. AOD is the term used for Ford auto's before they went AOD-E but he is right old Ford Auto;s did suck. They lost nearly 40% in some cases before the power hit the wheels. Complete slush box if you ask me.

That's true, I've driven an otherwise stock '95 Formula a4 with 4.10's and it was pretty fast, faster than a stock Mustang.
