1992 sable crankshaft dispositioned?

:banghead: it starts but won't stay running with out a throttle adjustment. The part where the pulley meets the crankshaft has a rubber part that has been dispositioned and oils leaks through that. Could that be the source of the problem or do I need a new positioning sensor? :banghead: HELP!!!!!
