water leaking from under the engine area

I've been very happy that my 98 windstar never really gave us any problems. But now it's just one after the other. First the chirping noise, and now water leaking from the engine area. My husband said he will look into it this weekend and he said that it might be the air conditioning. Is it normal if it is the AC? I'm just curious is all. :grinyes: And really eager to trade with something else.

It is normal for the AC to drip clear pure (well almost) water. Especially on humid days.

The A/C will drip clear water in humid weather......it can even leave a stream from under your vehicle. As long as it is clear.....you are fine.
If it is green, yellow, orange, red, or dark brown.....then it is a problem.

DRW1000 & Wiswind, thanks for the responds. I'm really glad to hear that. I'm sure it is water because I touch it with my finger.
