96 sable trunk wont open

hello. my 96 sable LS trunk wont open. i bought it 2 years ago, it worked then, but about a few weeks later it only opened when it wanted to, now it does nothing. a locksmith couldnt open it. key doesnt work, remote doesnt work, and button by steering wheel doenst work...help.

Did the key ever work? Can you fold down the rear seats from inside of the car? Check to make sure there are no other electrical problems with the car.
