hi, i have found this site here http://awshifting.com/index.html that claims to get able to get an computer controled auto tranny to become a auto/manuel tranny. now the thing is that it only cost 130 bucks. like i wanted to try it but i don't want to f up my tranny. cause if i do i am going to make it manuel anyway .

Hi, this is Brett, that is my site and I make the controllers. It certainly does work on the models listed on the application page. I have not done any research for Saturns yet, but if it's an electronically controlled automatic transmission then I almost certainly can adapt my controller for it. I've been selling more primitive forms of this controller for 2 years now just for the Jeep applications and used to have an extensive user review and writeup section. I will be doing the same thing again very soon with the new unit, so keep your eye on the site and you will see that the controller is real and people are pleased with it.

(If anyone has good wiring diagrams for the Saturns in question, they would be much appreciated)

Thanks for your interest and don't (anyone) hesitate to email me,
Brett

why not just buy a vehicle with a real manual? they're only fun with the clutch anyway.

my roomate's the same way. it really is what makes it a manual though. In addition, you have a choice of which gear (double clutching from 4th to 2nd and rev that son of ***** for example). all other ones that don't use a clutch most likely have to be sequential, and where's the fun in that?)

yea true cause in a way the car is still taking you where you want to go but how it wants to go. you just get to shift......like a little kid wanting to hit a bottom. i'm sure the computer in your car won't let someone be stupied and not let you blew your own engine for not knowing how to shift right

yeah, i loved double clutching my saturn, but i guess i really wouldn't do crazy shifting/revving in a saturn (something with a V8, maybe, or an M5). It looks interesting though. gives ya a feature mostly found in nice cars (audi, porsche, to an extent mazda) if i understand it right.
