Ok the title is self-explanatory. Post your favorite engine swap ideas. Be creative. mine are:

1. 350Z engine into a Nissan hardbody pickup
2. Chevy 350 into a Honda Accord
3. 427 side-oiler into an early-90's Crown Victoria

Too much to think about...im in the process of sleeping. But i read an article of a guy putting a 2jz in a RX-7 then building mass addons and what not since the engine bay was so huge. it was in...super street a year ago i think. neatness

The LT5 (a 350CID) was the engine used in the 90 - 95 ZR1 Corvette's and not a northstart engine. It was a lotus designed engine for GM.

The 20B is a great motor.. but the 13B has made a name for itself, plus there are a lot of 2.0 liter engines out there that are putting down insane horsepower. How often do you get to kick so much ass with a 1.3 liter? :)

Fd3S + 20B (Nah) 27B (4 Rotor) (yeah) + Single turbo T51 = Suicide! Just to give you guys a hint of the power this would make... 20B (3 Rotor)with a T51 makes 1200Hp at 8lbs of boost!!!! Imagine a 4 rotor with 15+ lbs of boost in a stripped Fd chassis!

Btw ~ 4 Rotor is about 780hp N/a conservatly tuned... :wink:

And maybe if possible 34B there is one in texas...

Thats why you re-enforce the chassis with subframes and a strut tower brace. There are many convertibles/roadsters that make tremendous amount of torque.

what's the point in that? it's would be infinitely cheaper and easier to just take an 850CSi and re-badge it.

I thought it would be cheaper just to find an S70 if there's one laying around from say, a CSi that got rear ended (yea I know, S70s are really hard to come by) and buy regular 850, and just do an engine swap.

the goal was to make a regular 850 into a CSi. I dunno, maybe I'm making it too complicated.

there were only 1057 S70s built for 850CSis (there may be a few more of them out there though) so you won't find many laying around. they get taken pretty quick, from what i've been told some people i know already have three. so that's 1054 for you to chase after!
