Bob I took your advice and i was about to take it to the pros< but i kept reading up on the sitution with others people random misfire problems, I looked at all the OBD codes and i didnt see a code for the ICM, i know it prob is one, but i must have just overlooked it at the time, and i though i would replace my coils but i seen the codes if thorw for coils, and my car wasnt thorwing anything but PO300 so i figured if my car had coil problems it would tell me< and at the time i saw there wasnt a code for a ICM( i prob overlooked it if it was) So i figured it must be the problem. So i bought one and put it on and it threw a code IGNITION SYSTEM or MISFIRE DECTECTED i dont remember the number. But the Ignition control Module dont the trick, So i made a couple of blocks and the code never came back. and it doesnt misfire anymore. So the Problem was the ICM. My stock one had grease i guess but it was melted into liquid on a cold engine so i put the new one on with new grease. and now it a wrap Thanks Everybody for all the Advice
But i know it just me on this but i havent got to feel the power of the car in awhile now, and now when i punch it, it feels slower than it use to but i know that just me. ( 3 weeks since i felt the power)
So i was about to take it to the pros, But i tired one more thing 1st. and it worked

Glad to hear you got it resolved. Sometimes preseverance pays off. What took you so long.
I recall quite a few responses suggesting the ICM or coil packs.
Do me a favor, please update the message thread in the link below so we have some continuity in this and for reference so others know what resolved your issue. Then we can call it a wrap.

I posted this in the original thread too, but we're glad you got her fixed and you're welcome for the help. Thanks for the feedback.

Here is his post that I believe is most relevant. The ICM was probably causing that joining connector problem which connects the ICM/Coil Packs/CKPS. He had a fried wire so hopefully that issue is resolved too.

BTW - He had so many posts on the same issue even I almost lost track.

That is not good! The PCM is not switching over to ignition control bypass mode, etc. Normally that is caused by bad wiring from the ignition control module and to the PCM. Other possibility is the ICM module you got has a problem.
It sounds like you need to get that bad connector fixed. I've seen people run with those codes with no problems in driveability but it is hard to say.

Needless to say the SES light will be bugging you until the wiring problem is resolved. It means there is an open or shorted wire between the ICM and PCM. Haynes probably won't show it but the GM GP service manual does. If you want the pin and plug numbers I could provide that. Let me know.
I am quite sure it is related to that flaky electrical connector you found.

I do not believe AZ sells those parts you need but it wouldn't hurt to check. They are typically GM dealer or an AC Delco authorized parts distributor only. Of course, for any on-line transaction there will be a shipping/handling charge.
I can get any special order part I need through the Pontiac dealer in about 3 - 5 days so you may have to go that route. Good luck!
