Greetings all. My reputable dealer informs me that the reason for my coolant leak is that one of the plastic tanks attached to the radiator is cracked. My questions are:
1. Can the tank be replaired/replaced?
2. How difficult would it be?
3. If I need to replace the radiator, what is the level of difficulty of the repair?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

a plastic tank, connected to the rad. Must be the overflow tank. Should be easy to R/R. Just make sure you ask the dealer for sure it is the tank. I actually can not think of any other tanks except the overflow. Also ask the dealer are there any other leaks, why would you want to r/r the rad if they told you it was the tank ?

Thanks alot for your reply.
If the overflow tank is the one that is towards the back of the engine compartment, where you add coolant, then it's not that. It is affixed to the side of the radiator itself. Apparently, the radiator has plastic tanks on both sides and an aluminum core. The mechanic tells me that the tank is crimped onto the core, so if you replace it you need the tool to do that...from what I can tell, it looks like I need to just swap out the whole thing, but I am hoping somebody can tell me otherwise...
