Thats a good site. There is so many things you can do with a saturn, just depends on how much you want to spend. Ive heard of people running 11 second 1/4 miles so look around, its all over.

you go on turbosaturns and ask about bolt on mods, first reply would probably be, "Go turbo".

saturns are not like hondas, bolt ons do hardly anything. they are pretty well set up from factory. you can squeeze some power out of it with bolt ons, headers i think have shown the best improvement, but then might as well add a full exhaust.

now for headers, obx typically run into a leak at the manifold to downpipe. they always seem too, and have also cracked. pacesetter are fine, although the painted ones flake the paint off and rust up, but they also have a ceramic coated one (although they say 93-96 SC2, it will work on your car). another option is the 91-92 stock header, yes from factory it was a tubular header. you can get that very cheap, but you would have to use the smaller the oxygen with it, you cant put your 97 in the bung.

now catalytic converter, the stock one would be fine for you, but you can get a catco universal pretty cheap but have to have a oxygen sensor bung welded on. magnaflow makes a good one too. piping, i ran 2" but 2 1/4" would do fine. i ran a apex'i n1 muffler which sounded okay, but for $200 no and ebay "n1" mufflers are not true ones. magnaflow are great and you can find a tip to suite your style. now the big part, put on a resonator!!!!!!! a pretty big one, 24" or bigger. this will help the famous rasp sound that is evident when running larger exhaust on a n/a car.

now intake, the true cai you can find is an aem. you can swing with a second gen (95-99) eclipse 420a, non turbo, cai and it will fit on your car. guys with autos typically do this since that one doesnt interfere with the filter, which manuals dont have but just another option.

and as long as everything is hooked up, you will have no cel. and if you want stuff cheaper, i have a catco converter (2 1/4") with o2 bung already welded on and a apex'i muffler that im probably going to get rid of. i think they have like at the most 15,000 miles on them and the muffler still looks great since i always cleaned it. hell if your nearby, i could get rid of the exhaust as a whole, and if you get a pacesetter, it should all just bolt right on. im getting rid of it because my car was wrecked, and i bought another car but since i have a daily driver now, im turning it into my turbo project.
