Hi,

Anyone out there do a timing belt replacement on the V6 engine, need to know where the timing marks are...any pics/diagrams to show me where? Plan on getting my service manual next week but I really want to put that belt in ASAP.
Thanks

Rob

I have a 90 Montero w/ a 3.0L V6 SOHC engine that I did the timing belt on. There are marks on various gears and the block/mounting surface that you reference off of each other.

Here's a diagram from the 89 factory service / maintenance manual.
