And I thought I would share it here and see what the reaction is here.
I just fell in love with my Saturn again.
just drove through a hellacious thunderstorm! One of those Alabama afternoon storms that cause havoc. I was in town dropping off my first born to her mom, or trying to get there, when it started raining sideways with marble size hail. All the trafic lights were blinking the railroad lights were fllashing, trash cans flying limbs falling off trees and LIGHTNING all over. It was raining so hard that the people with no lights on there cars was sitting ducks on the hiwaay. At one point the rain was so heavy the water was over the 6 inch curbs. I was driving with wife and kids making the switch with my oldest girl. It was a storm for hollywood, people were stopping and some were pulling off the road. Me and my SATURN (99sl) was a trucking along. Water was everywhere! Could not see curb or lines on the road. If you knew my ex you would understand "don't be late" line.
any ways, It was raining hard! there was water all over the road! my Saturn was splashing and swimming like it was a duck! I had the Ac on and the defrost, just so I could seem the front of my car! I didnt have a miss or a stutter or anyting. The only thing was the wind that blowed my csr sideways once. The car did better than my truck! I drove around and passed everyone! It was a great feeling! I was dodging limbs and trash cans with the best of them!
HELL YEA!!! TO SATURN!!

I personally would not be driving in those conditions with a baby in my car.
