Hi-
I have a 2000 Ford Windstar SE, 42,500 mi.
Just yesterday, my windshield wipers started malfunctioning. When I set the wiper switch to any of the delay settings, the wipers move about 1/4 of the way and then just stop. Every time I move the switch up by one, the wipers only move up about 2 in, then just stay stopped in the middle of the windshield. The low and high settings work fine, except that when I shut them off, the wipers stop wherever they were when I turned the switch off.
I had a mechanic look at it who told me he thought it might be the switch, but he didn't want to do the work.
Any ideas what this could be?
PLEASE HELP!!!!:banghead:

It may be the switch, but I would first replace the two wiper relays that are in the battery fuse/relay box.
