As I stated before I used to be against seatbelts too. Now I don't feel comfortable without it. Now it's a habit. I automatically put it on even if I'm moving the car in the driveway.

No it's not a guy or gal thing to brag about not wearing seatbelts. It the people who either haven't learned their lesson yet or are stubborn.

Hell if I had a choice of wearing a lap belt or nothing at all I'd choose nothing at all. All you'll do is jack knife (if not get ripped in half) by wearing just a lap belt.

This is a dumb decision by my standards. I'd prefer to spend 3 weeks in the hospital for hitting my face on the dash instead of having my head go through the windshield, or even possibly get thrown from the vehicle and get mangled. You're more likely to die some "Final Destination" death and get decapitated or something if you don't wear your seatbelt. I don't know why some of you will risk dying like a pathetic, helpless piece of meat instead of buckle up.

I think everyone should get real with it all... seatbelts are uncomfortable if you never were them... if you start wearing them everyday you'll get used to it... you'll stay alive and not get a ticket... and the cars way back when were so freakin big that if you wrecked into lets say a 2006 civic... youll be totaly fine and the civic will be split in freakin half... save yourself the hastle... get a nice car... get some sparco seats, and some 5 point harnesses... then wearing you seatbelt will be cool... yeah lets all do it... wtf?? just wear it... they really do save lifes... if it werent for seatbelts all that would be left of my uncle is bones under some concrete... my friend also just did 3 weeks in the hospital for spliting his face on another friends dash in a highway wreck... he was wearing his lap belt only but the truck didnt have a shoulder belt.. it was an older s10...

I have automatic seatbelts :wink: , just a bitch waiting for it to slide foward when exiting the car- otherwise I get "stuck" lol.

i think for some there is that foolish notion of invincability... that little thing that says "that aint goin to happen to me" then with that one in a million stroke of bad luck, shit will happen... evil kinevil was probibly the luckiest man alive. i swear he tempted fate far to many times. i already know fate is pissed at me ... knowing this pattern of luck, i think a seatbelt is best. im actually surprised this thread has gone on as long as it has. i didnt figure there would be an arguement.
