synchronizer tool

I have a 98 3.8 that I have to replace the cmp synchronizer in. Can anyone tell me wher I can find the alignment tool and some part numbers for it.

Well, I tried to find you a good link but the webpage has been changed and I can find nothing!

Anyway, for my '99 3.8 (yours will require a different tool), the Ford number is 303-630 (but Ford will not sell you one). The OTC number for the same tool is "6470".

Anyway, try your luck at the SPX/OTC (otctools.com ... I think) website ... it's there somewhere!
