2002 PT Cruiser; OBDll code P0551

P051 = Power Streering Pressure Sensor Circuit Range/Performance error code. The wife has a 2002 PT Cruiser Touring Edition & this OBD-ll code just came on last week. The power steering pump is full, no leaks detected & have no trouble with the power steering (yet). Any help with this sensor as to where it is located, can it be replaced without going to dealer, etc will be helpful.

switch is located on steering rack where shaft enters rack "gear" next to p/s fluid lines. you must get it from underneath car and it faces the back. fairly easy job. the car I worked on switch failed due to fluid leaking thru switch and right into connector. replaced switch and cleaned connector. tested ok. if it is not working properly, you might notice on turns idle does'nt hold very well.
