1995 SL A/C Problem

I have a 1995 SL and for the past few months the A/C has been running pretty loudly, the higher the setting, the louder it got. The A/C has always been cold, just loud. Then today it just stopped, it's nice and quiet now, but that's because nothing is coming out of the vents at all. It figures that it is now starting to get up near 100 here, and my A/C craps out. Anyone have any ideas what might be wrong?

was it making the noise when set to hot or cold? no air blowing at allfrom the vents? frist thoughts say your blower motor has died
