02 impala rev problem

yea i have a wuestion. i have a 2002 impala 3.4L V6 and when ever i rev the car when its in park or whatever it will rev then cut off quick and keep doin that. im new to the whole impala seen so i was jus wonderin if that normal or how i can take care of it.

Aimed at folks who over rev their cars in neutral, there is a rev limter built into the pcm. It will take care of itself by not abusing the engine anymore.
