My 2001 is blowing the #107 fuse in the fuse box in the hood compartment.. The electric fans come on and about a minute later I can see the fuse heat up and then brake and the fans go dead..At $4 a piece for the fuses I am done with trial and error..Any chance this could be a bad relay and if so how can I tell if the relay is bad??
Any help much appreciated

One way you could test the relays is to unplug the fan motors. Turn the ac on, and watch the fuse. If the fuse stays together, the relays are OK ... and you have a problem with the fan motors, or the speed reducing resistor, or the wiring. (I'm betting on the motors).
BTW, these particular relays are mounted by themselves on the LH fender inside.
You can then try hooking up one fan at-a-time. But don't do this test for very long or things will overheat. You could play a little garden hose water on the radiator to offset the heat gain.
