what are you talking about, what rivets. First you pull up on the pcv valve while it's still on the hose then you twist it while trying to pull it out of the hose. But I don't think you need to replace your pcv valve already.

The hose comes off the top of the PCV fine, the PCV itself is stuck in the valve cover gasket in some type of rubber grommet or sumn but the problem is that on top of the PCV there is a metal clip that want allow you to pull the PCV out of the rubber grommet, the flange on the PCV will not pass through it, and this metal clip is held on to the valve cover gasket with a bolt on either side that is flat...... I went to autozone and they had never seen anything like it before.... he said I would have to drill out the rivits and replace the PCV then put some bolts in place of the rivits..... the car is a 2005 with 105,000 miles on it

Yea I have already read that article.... but my pcv looks different from the pictures, maybe since mine is a 2005 it is different iono.... mine looks like that but with a metal clip holding it on, im thinking about just cutting the clip and moving it then moving it back when I replace the PCV..... hopefully this want mess anything up....
