takeshi!!! most powerful car in all 3 stages!! can't beat the gt-r. if only he can concentrate more and if he wans't sooo cocky. he coudl've beaten takumi in their first race together.

I think Ryosuke is better than Nakazato. Hell Keisuke is probably better than Nakazato. 0 wins with a 390hp GTR is sad lol.

Too be honest I've never been a HUGE FC. I like the R32 better. But it terms of personality im ALOT like Keiske. The FC is still wicked.

i'm more like takeshi. i'm a smart mouthed guy. lolz but hey when takumi raced takeshi, durin that time he coudl've beaten keisuke. but that bastard had to improve!!! and put takeshi one of the last ones in rank in initial D.

Takumi by far i mean his car was a piece for the first 2 seasons, and he kills everyone an R32, Civic EG6, RX-7, Lancers, i mean the list goes on and on...i mean he took the Hatchi GOKU and beat the silvias...BUT i do like the Sil-80 that is AMAZING chicas are hot too ;)

well yeah i give it that. but its pretty interesting to see how he improves after every race. and you can actually see him improve and change his driving style. but when it comes to sheer skills no one can top Ryousuke and Bunta. and maybe even Kai or Kyoichi. but Takumi's instinct and his ablitiy to adapt him and Keisuke's instincts are amazing.

Everybody know that Bunta is the best driver in this whole thing... You may not like his behaviour but you have to admit it...:flipa:

Bunta is the downhill god, but I still think Kyouichi is cooler since he drives the badass LanEvo. Plus if it wasn't for Kyouichi Takumi wouldn't have got that sweet new engine.

Ryosuke Kicks ass! I need a bit of self-promotion. but I think but is the best and most bad ass. Not only does he have an STi with a 22B front clip, but he does a hands free clutch kick while ligghting a ciagrette! Hes my role model lol:devil:

one question. why did Bunta decided to get a STi all of the sudden anyways? was it to teach Takumi how to master a 4WD car since hes already mastered RWD?

i changed my mind about my favorite character. BUNTA all the way!!! however is good enough to scare the shit out of Keichi Tsuchiya with their drifts is god!! BUNTA IS GOD!

Is my favorite. He may not be the absolute best driver(still very good), but I like his style. He's tough, but still honorable(watch the sencond race with Takumi), and he drives the coolest car.
Besides, you have to admit, that was a sweet feint drift he pulled on Takumi when they raced on Akagi.

Don't get me wrong, I like Ryosuke, and I tend to be real analytical like him, but you gotta go for the guy with the black rally car.:ylsuper

Ryosuke Takahashi is my fave. The man is just dripping with style, he has women hanging off of him, is a pre-med college student, and is constantly being scouted by professional teams. Plus, you've got to love some of his lines. My favorite is from episode 25, right before the race when he throws his sport coat (fashion sense, he even has fashion sense) over a dumbfounded Keiseke's shoulder and slides into the FC's seat.

"Start the race, this is going to be a fun night."

Now THAT is styling. None of this "Yo what up, bitch?" nonsense. Just pure, unadulturated style.

I agree. Ryosuke is almost as cool as I am. Almost. As it happens, I'm so cool I can hardly believe it! I'm so cool it hurts sometimes... In fact, it's hurting right now! Ow! Ow! :eek: :coolguy:

Actually, the dual SU setup is more reliable than the single SU when dealing with the high-compression solid lifter B engine because you don't have as much of a problem with running the carb too rich (which is one of my problems). And Strombergs work even better.

*looks aghast* Trashy girls? I'd never! I'm a gentleman, that's why I drive a gentleman's car like the MGB. That, and the car only cost me $450 dollars out the door, titling and all.

Okay, the first thing to do is remove the bumpers from the B. Second thing to do is get a set of Minilites. Sell the wires and get the minilites.

Then, you have taken baby steps on the road to my level of coolness. :D

Actually, I found a sweet set of Borrani 72 spoke wires the other day. You don't want to know the price, though. The real problem with changing wheels on my car is that I also have to change the hubs to do so. My B is a wire wheel car with actual knock offs. I change tires with a brass hammer. So, until I can afford new front spindles and rear hubs, I'm stuck with knock-off wheels. Maybe a set of Halibrand Starfires, like the old Cobras used. Mmmn, magnesium.

ah, I see... You could get minilites for knockoffs! Halibrands are also very cool.

I can but I don't, much. The MGB GT has a great short wheelbase, torquey pushrod 1.8L engine, 4-speed racing transmission with straight cut gears, solid rear axle, and quick ratio steering. Plus, after I got rid of most of the crud on the calipers, I found my car is equipped with Girling brakes. So, it is an ideal drifter, in spite of not having power steering or power brakes. It's insanely easy to swing the tail around under braking and the car is even very tolerant of making the odd error.

The reason why I DON'T drift it much is the wheels. As I've mentioned before, I've got the factory set of knock-off 52 spoke wire wheels on my car. These wheels are known to shed (the spokes depart from the axles) themselves under high side loadings. At the moment, I don't want to risk it. That's why I'm shopping for either wheels that fit the knock-off stub axles, or a good set of the four lug spindles and axles. It's a bummer, because my teammate will only loan me his S13 to get my drift fix so many times. (he's afriad I'll become better than him, though I taught him most everything he knows in the first place)

Well, I would recommend the minilites for knockoff hubs. They're on Ebay pretty often...
