It's a coupe. The GT model was the coupe, with roofline designed by Battista Pinifarina, I might add. So you know it looks good, usually. (What the hell were they thinking when they designed the Enzo, though? Ferrari's are supposed to be pretty, or at least handsome)

anyways my vote is def bunta. Bunta IS god. u just gotta give props to someone who drifts while buttoning his shirt and lighting a cigarette while still being able to scare the shit out of tsuchiya-san. and as for style ....WHO NEEDS STYLE ANYWAYS WHEN U CAN KICK EVERYONE'S ASS in a race.

Bunta has got style, you can't even see his eyes! This makes him very wise.

I still say Kai is the coolest, he has style, he has taste, and he's devilishly handsome (he kinda looks like me :) )

Ryosuke races in loafers and a white sport jacket. Plus he has cool lines like "Start the race, this is going to be a fun night." Plus CHICKS DIG HIM! Yes, I'd like to be mega-ultra-skilled like Bunta, but to be merely ultra-skilled like Ryosuke and have chicks fawning over me wherever I went would be preferable.

Bunta doesn't scare the shit out of Tsuchiya while lighting a cig, that's Yuuichi, tsuchiya is the one talking to Bunta over the phone on the 23rd episode of the first stage

Kai was drifting all over the place and beat him using jumps. It wasnt a gutte either, just the side of the road :p

Kai NEVER drifted, he did ebrake to get sideways just before each jump, but that isnt drifting, watch it again, his style was grip.

Yes, Cole is the one character that I can really relate to. In one of his bio thingies in one of the first three volumes, it says something like:

"...21 years old and never been on a date... Is in love with his car, which gives him a different kind of pleasure..."

And the way he lives and looks, dudes, it's fucking me. But Bunta is the best character. He's the guy behind it all with his finger poised over the kill-all-now button. :)

well im new to the initial d thing so the guy who drivers the nissan s14 on the RedSuns, Kenta Nakamura. but the r32 gt-r is sweet.

His real name is Kogawashi Kai, Irohazaka is his home course so of course he would be able to do that, and I think he wasn't in the poll only because he is just a feature character in the movie. He isn't in stage 1 or 2, and I doubt, 4.

I watched Initial D for the very first time this weekend. Borrowed it from a girl in my class who likes anime. I've only seen a few parts from the second stage (some DVD's didn't work, the third stage movie, and the fourth stage episode #1 to #14. like....I watched episode after episode for the whole weekend, lol. I have to say....Bunta Fujiwara.....I dunno, but he cracks me up.
