Bought A Xbox 360

The PlayStation 3 has a pretty strong Nvidia graphics processor, but you can see why Sony is afraid of the specification sheet comparison by the pipeline number conveniently omitted from the PS3 graphics specifications. The RSX graphics processors has a traditional, non-unified shader engine, so it has a smaller total "pipeline" number than the ATI chip, and there for making ATI the better card given the next gen effects.

ATI and Nvidia have been about the same over the years, one card a bit better one year, the other better the next but in this case the 360 in my opinion has the better card.

Just wait a year after Ps3 has came out like driftinggrifter said and you'll see how much better the Ps3 is..

As far as the comment above, that is how alot of major companies do business these days. Microsoft does the same thing. People build programs and Microsoft will come along and buy them and offer the people responsible good jobs so that anything that they come up with is microsofts.

i found 4 different sites with the exact same specs. it has 7 processors at 3.2GHz, not one at 4GHz.

Bro, You are looking at SPE's. You'll notice that according to this spec sheet it has only one powerPC-base core running at 3200Mhz. Thats 2 less than the 360, the SPE's are there to assist the main core with things such as playing PS2 games etc (backward capability) but do not actualy have any affect on the processing power (3200MHZ) for there next gen games, that is also the same reason why I think the RSX does not support next gen effects such as ATI since the main core is unable to process them.

If you don't care too much about hardware and just like to play the line of games that Sony has to offer then good, Sony has a system that is deff next gen in comparison to there PS2 which was running 300MHZ the new console is 3-4000MHZ. But I'm just one of those guys who wants best in terms of Graphics and nothing less and in my opinion that is what the 360 has to offer.

PS: If the 360 does not have titles such as Metal Gear solid, Final fantasy etc I'm going to have to buy the PS3 just for some of my fav titles.

It's going to be like Live on xbox. With voice chat, web cam, friends list, ect, ect and I think they're even splitting it up like a Silver and Gold membership. The thing is they haven't released many details. They said it'll be free. Well I've heard that only the basic service will be free like Live Silver. I've also heard though their service like Live Gold will be free as well. I haven't heard much over that but I'm sure they'll release details.

If they have a service like Live though and it's free then that'll be a good enough reason to get one.

Actually that is another main reason why I didn't like Sony's new console. I mean it looks like a Scaner and banana combo . Why did sony have to change the original controller. That thing was a classic they should have just tweaked it like Microsoft, and also the spider man font, whats up with that??.

The spiderman font was used to make it look sleek, I mean just look at the game console itself and the controllers.. all sleek.. although I dont exactly like the Ps3 controllers, im sure they're fine and dont feel odd in my hands like the Xbox controllers do.

Nope nothing "offically" has came out yet, your link to 425 is wrong. But the price of making the blu ray readers are going up, because of the demand. This will be a temp thing though. the price of making the acutall cell processor however... is going to be enormas, to say the least. Have you actaually seen or read anything about it? or do you just know that sony is making a new chip? Its not going to be cheap, and because of all the heating problems its getting right now (a major factor in the launch play) its not going to be easy to cool it efficently and costly
