sable trunk seal

im pretty sure this is a comment problem...is there anyway to stop the seal from leaking....currently the seal is leakin at where the window meets the trunk...the seal looks good...when i wash my car i open the trunk and i can see water on the seal...should i replace the seal or get one from a taurus....any info would help...

What year is your car? Was your car in a wreck? Is the deck lid lining up properly? If the seal is old and compressed with age, you will have to replace it with a new one.
