Hello all this is my first post by the way. glad to find this site it is very helpful. anyways i got my 03 impala a few months ago. loving it since it only has 9,000 miles! i am considering a few simple modifications such as the 9c1 police impala center caps. anyone who has knowledge on this knows that they are mounted by 3 screws. of course my stock steem rims do not have these screw holes. i have called tons of places seeing if they can modify the rim and they all say no because they dont know what im talking about and also because of a liability issue. saying it weakens the rim and could cause it to crack or break??! i dont see how 3 small holes could do something like that to a sturdy 16 inch steel rim. does anyone have any kind of knowldege of doing this correctly. i mean i could just go drilling but i wanna do it right. id rather have a professional do it, however. thanks for the help.

You have to take the wheels off the car and drill the 3 holes for the mounting bolts. Then just thread the holes.
