Squeak from Steering Wheel

My wife has a 2002 Saturn SL2... When you turn the steering wheel when driving this squeak comes from somewhere behind the dash. If you turn the wheel back and forth it sounds like a record being scratched back and forth across the needle, like what you'd hear in a rap song. She's taken it back to the dealer twice about it and they said nothing is wrong and they can't tell where it's coming from. Maybe nothing is wrong but it's really annoying and SOMETHING has to be not functioning properly for this to happen.
Anyone else have this problem or have it fixed?
Thanks

My wife has a 2001 SL1. The steering wheel makes a very faint squeal, but it hasn't gotten to the point where it's annoying...yet. It sounds like contoured rubber/ plastic rubbing against eachother. If it gets any louder I'll try shooting some silicone grease inside the steering column where there's movement
