98 Winstar Stall

My Windstar 98 3.8L stalls frequently when slowing down to stop or to turn.
I pull to the side of the road and it turns back on like nothing happened.
This started happening a week ago.
It seems like it started happening soon after I replaced the air filter.
I have gone back to see what hose or wire got disconnected when taking out or putting back the air filter and so far every thing is looks fine.
Some times the van goes for a day or two without stalling, but when it starts doing it, it stalls two or three times in a short period.
No warning lights come on or error code registered. If any body have experienced this or may have an idea of what it could be causing it, please let me know.

Do a search for idle control motor. I have a feeling this may be the problem for you.
