Front brakes on 2000 windstar

I did my front brakes on my 2000 windstar this weekend and bought Delco pads for it and new rotors.

I noticed that one pad extented past the rotor where the other pad was fine and this happened on both sides.

It this typical of a windstar setup. Both pads were exactly the same size and I wondered if factory pads were different size for the front and rear of the rotor.

I am a little concerned about this.

Thanks.

Hello

Did you check your pad alignment after you tightened the lug nuts? Your rotor may not of been square so it looked like the pad was hanging over. Just a thought.

Thanks Dan.

Does anyone know what the factory spec is on the diameter of the rotor so I know the after market one is correct.

Thanks,

Scott
