1994 sl2 llo seized engine...

I got a 1994 sl2 with the LLo motor??? the engine is siezed due to low oil but every thing else on the car was in fair condition and it was a daily driver for 2 years. Nothing major was ever wrong with the car except it has a bent subframe which isnt bad at all, the car barley pulled if any. I am parting the car out or selling it whole whichever came first. Would nayone hsppento be interested, some aftermarket parts avalible...

you on anymore saturn forums? youd probably get some good hits. im really in need of probably an entire engine for the extra parts to build my boosted engine. all ive got is a block and crank, i need timing cover, head, valve cover, probably intake manifold. i know i dont have enough money to get one, but if your not on any other forums let me know because ill lead you to places where you might get some hits.

Nope no other forums just this one. Im just a 17 year old kid with a lead foot and a racing gene... lol... The engine is still in good condition from what i know i mean when it blew it didnt technically "blow" it just shut off without any load noises or smoke, nothing almost like it was an electrical problem but the car was nice... Has 3 civic dx's, an integra, an 03 cavi and a v6 stang under its belt all with mods except for the stang, that one was luck on my part...:iceslolan

well you should join up on www.sixthsphere.com then. you might get some more hits on the parts, or if you decide to keep it we can help quite a bit. same with www.plastikracing.net and www.turbosaturns.net, im on all of them. there is alot of experience floating around those sites. and there are plenty of guys in ohio including me.

well i really wouldnt mind dropping a new motor in the car but seems as how i have no experiance with engine's what so ever and this is the only car i have right now excluding my mothers cavi, its kinda worth a try but the car is sitting in te back of an appartment complex and im not really sure what to do with it.. i have a fair amount of money to put into a new motor and trany but dont know were to start...

well you might be surprised. putting a new motor in these cars is pretty simple. you already have the good engine. you can get more then enough help putting one in on those sites. i can help out too. you might even be able to have guys come over and help do the job, you never know. there are 2 different ways you can pull the engine, either through the top, or drop the entire craddle and have pretty much everything out of it.

if you do however join up and want to try to put a new engine in, make sure you write that i sent you so i know who you are. i dont want to make any decisions for you, but just giving you another option.
