Has anyone had a good experience cleaning their Mass Air Flow Sensor versus just replacing it? Thanks in advance.

From what my friends had experienced, cleaning the MAF Sensor have fixed their problem.

Well I went ahead and cleaned it. And my problems didn't go away. So I went and got a replacement and voila it drives smooth again. Now my problem is the MIL light. How do I turn it off?
