East coast meet

ok guys where we gana do this at? somehwere mid ways with a good track! lets start giveing off names then we will vote

I know of a track in New Hampshire and one in Orlando and I'm willing to go anywhere in between.

I know a good track here in South Carolina. its sort of mid ways lol alot better than Florida mabey North Carolina has a good track we can rent out? its more midways.

Lets shoot for a weekend in June or August. I'm actually driving from Boston to Orlando starting May 15th and driving back to be in Boston on June 1st.

dude new hampshire is good im right in boston so that would be nice,but i know noone else would come exept kevin and a few others

I'm in for driveing i just dont wana have to go from South carolina to Maryland.... lol i figure somewhere around Vergina or West Vergina is almost poerfectly middle ways. if anyone can find a good track around there and some good food/laodeging that would be great.

I'd be in for something along those lines. 4th of July might be tough to swing. I have a cape tradition with some college friends that I don't want to lose yet. I think what we need is for everyone who is interested in participating to give their location. That way we can figure out what is most convenient for everyone (I.E. least people traveling the least distance).

yea definatly. so anywho is for SURE comeing to the east coast meet somwhere in late june early july say I!!!!!! lol but weriously we need to find out how many people. so we can start calling some logging and some tracks.

also state where u live at so we can figure out where everyone is so we can sorta make it equal travling for most of us and state ur name so we dont all look stupid when we finaly do do this and dont know anyones name lol.

I'm totally in for a meet. Somewhere like in the middle like Virginia would be best, but Orlando has a really good track. Plus, Orlando would have a TON of hotels since all of the theme parks are there and crap.

I havnt been to any due to no time, but theres a 1/4 like 2 hours from me, only 1/8 is close by.

Also, if this is gonna happen, we are gonna need more than just 4 people going on the east coast meet. It just wouldn't be worth the trip for anyone just for 4 people to show...:frown:

Lancaster Speedway, theres an event there called DDS showdown, its a Drift Drag, show and sound competition... pretty fucking sweet if you ask me, its located in buffalo NY

Virginia seems to be a pretty popular place so far. Lets all do a little research on tracks we could go to with nearby hotels in the virginia area. We could do a get there Friday, track Saturday, leave on Sunday thing.

What is everyone feeling on the dates? I can easily work out June or July. August would be do-able but must less preferred. May is a no go for me.

They have test & tunes on Saturdays which would work great. I don't think we would need to rent out the track or anything, just go and have some fun, get a few runs in here and there.

could always do it in ohio since that is where they hold the Shoot Out everyone goes to every year :grinyes: .. great track .. might be expensive but ya never know.. just my :2cents:

I'm in Jamestown, NY, about 1 1/2 hours south of buffalo. Virginia would be fine as would north or south carolina.

South Carolina would be AWSOME :grinyes:. But thats too far for the northern people to travel.

I live in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Virginia would be perfect. Thats pretty much half way if ur comming from Mass or Nothern Florida. Anywayz, I'm stuck with my RS this summer so i don't wanna be looked down on or anythang lol. And I could care less about a track. But it'd deffently be cool to get together

Anyone know any good tracks in Virginia? I know we could just search it but, it would be better if someone actually knows a track or has been there before. Also we should deffinatly get an estimate number on people. People in certain regions could meet up and go there together. I know 1stgenrocks lives pretty close to me so we could probably meet up and head down together... might help in not getting lost haha.

Awesome. If all else fails I know a good track in Maryland so, if this doesn't work out we could get something going in MD. I know a few people where I live that don't have dsms but would be more than happy to come with us.

So it looks like we have 8+ friends. I think it's definitely worth a meet and greet.

Someone suggested spring break but I think that would be tough especially since it's so soon and spring breaks don't always align (or you don't get a spring break).

The weekend after the 4th of July was suggested also (July 7-9). I'd be in for that. If we get other suggestions, maybe we all agree or call a vote. Hopefully we can all commit to a weekend especially since there is only 8.

I would do Labanon Valley in NY, but that's about as far south as I'm willing to drive these days :D The only travel I can stand doing lately is for the DSM Shootout in Ohio, and I'm even starting to dread that trip... :)
