Had to take a little time off of the forums. I like to go through all new posts in a nice orderly fashion, so once I get more than a few days behind I keep putting it off, then getting even further behind :D Plus I've been on dialup for a while now, I don't know how people do it! I'm not even going to bother trying to catch up now...

I would love to meet some more poeple from this forum, but I don't think I'm up for a long trip. I must be getting old :D But, if anyone is planning on going to the 2006 DSM Shootout in Ohio we could easily make plans to meet up on the saturday. That's pretty equidistant from most places on the east coast until you get down below NC or so I would imagine. It's about 700 miles and 10-12 hours from me in MA. i will probably be at the shootout this year.. in the stands no doubt lol .. i don't think my gs will be breaking any kind of records.. well maybe for the slowest car there lol.. its only about a 2 -3 hr drive for me at the most since im in northeast ohio..

Heh Its been for ever since ive been on... But i got a 96 gst got rid of the Rs. Uhh Ill meet where ever, ne and anarchy can drive up lol if he ever gets jakes gst. Figured I drop a line IM totally down with south Carliona I have a girl there lol. So anything SC our up, im from texas but i go to school in Idaho so yea I drive alottt.

I know of a track in New Hampshire and one in Orlando and I'm willing to go anywhere in between.


Are you talking about lebanon valley dragway? If so that shit is only 45 minutes from me!! and nappier dragway across the boarder in canada is only 1 hour from me, 15 minutes from my moms house ;)

i'm prob going... its only 2 1/2 hours for me. But i'm not racing..:grinno: just there to BS with DSMer's. I know they're all faster than me, no need to prove it.

Both are 1.5 hours from where I live in central MA. The SO is still the only event I'm willing to drive much further for. It's Aug ~13 this year, just requested that whole week off from work. Still need to book a room. There is plenty of time to BS, out of the 4 day event only Sunday is racing. :)

If any other Masshole/Rhode Islanders etc ever want to get together I'm usually up for some DSM BSing. Worcester tends to be pretty central for New England. Otherwise I'm at the track a few times a month, and the local DSM club meets there the second wednesday of each month (new england dragway) and gets food after.

Yeah they are only 45 minutes from me, i will be there in august for shure, hopefully my car will be done by april so more like may then :rofl:

I was refering to the date. I believe it is the weekend before the SO, and there is a local club meet at the track right between the two. August tends to be a busy month... Track opens up early April (5th?), but I start hitting it a little harder around may, usually on fridays. Hopefully I'll catch you up there.

Ok cool i will meet up you hopefully, just let me know for sure exactly what dates you will be going so i can plan on that day also. Im hoping to hit mid 12's this year :grinyes: Oh and also i missed calculated on the time a little :banghead: lebanon is only 45 minutes from me and newengland dragway is about 1hour 40 minutes from me. But thats no big deal
