id do maryland if you can get info on the track there. Never had my car at the track before. So that would be cool.

Chicago is pretty central. There's some awesome roads here (like Lower Wacker Drive...) and it's not in hicktown usa. Has many airports, hotels, and good times. I vote for Chicago!

Definitely Georgia or somewhere around there. I'm in Alabama and going up north is out of the question due to funding. But I am leaving for Indiana for college in August...so maybe?

Chicago sounds like a good location to me. I wouldn't be heartbroken if I had to fly and couldn't bring my car. If we can get enough people seriously interested and maybe hammer down a date early enough, maybe we can get a group rate at a hotel or something? Are there any good tracks that are convenient to Chicago for those that can bring their cars?

I was really hoping for Denver, but it looks like there is only 2 other people in the west with me. Pffft and one of them voted for L.A. Oh well. I coulnd't make it to chicago. Atleast not this year, I dont have any funds (damn college any way). But maybe if this catches on we could move it around to different cities. Las Vegas would be fun.

I'm voting for chicago (mostly cause it's only 45 minutes away) but it's not that bad of a city either...

Chicago has Route 66 Raceway. That's my local track. It's right next to Chicagoland Speedway (for you NASCAR/INDY fans). Nice track. They also have a track for club members only. Road course where you pay like $10,000 and you bring your Porshe or Lambo... Not for us. But they have test & tune days, starting in May (I think) at the strip. Maybe we can get them to have an AF DSM day or something. I'm totally up for this.
There is also a couple tracks farther out, like in Indiana. Those are far out of the way, and I've never been to them and don't know what they have to offer.

I say Columbus, Ohio. There was this one part on the outskirts that I got lost in but it was 4 lanes wide on each side and it was so dead. It would be perfect for cruising around and stuff.

Sweet ass, clipsekid...I used to live in West Palm Beach. Went to school there...Florida Culinary Institute on 45th st. I spent a fair amount of time in Lauderdale, too. Used to go to the beaches down there all the time with my girl friend at the time...ahhh...meeeeeeemoriieeeeeeeeees....lol. I also saw Mudvayne down there years ago and it fucking ruled. It's easy to get out of Florida...just head north...lol...j/k.
How the hell can you guys drive cars that you have so little trust in? lol I'd hop in my old ass car right this second and go anywhere without hesitation...lol...Cali, Arizona, Tahoe (mmm...Tahoe...Tahoe kicks all kinds of nut sack), Canada...wherever...

Sounds like Chicago has alot of fans. I would be up for that to, but I dont think we could get the west coast people to come to that

Well, thats gonna be the case no matter where the meet is held. You put it on the east coast, and the west coast people won't come. You put it on the west coast and, the east coast people won't come. You put it in the middle and neither the west or east coast people will come. But whatever.

I agree with what someone said earlier about having a meet on the west coast and one on the east coast and then probably one for the central people. I think that would work out best. I know that it would be cool if we could all meet up but, I think that is highly unlikely. That is just my :2cents:

My thoughts exactly.
I am getting excited for this guys, I am working on finding a track somewhat centralized in the midwest and seeing what this is all going to cost. What do you guys think, maybe a two day thing? Meet day 1 for a swap meet/car show, go out for a huge DSM cruise that night, and have a track day the next day? I am going to try to get this thing going guys, who is in? Midwest represent!

I propose we start 3 more threads...West coast, east coast and midwest so we can start working out our regional meets.
