Parking Break Montero

I left my parking break on for while driving the other day (about 7 min total) and took on the freeway (about 50+ mph) for a couple of those minutes.
It seems like my steering is now loose and the car's acceleration (especially lower gear) is a little sluggish, could this be caused by leaving the parking break on (the lever was about in the mid position, not the highest for the parking break )
Thanks

I doubt you did anything bad to your parking brake. If anything you'll need to replace those shoes (separate from your normal rear pads/shoes).
As to if it affected your acceleration currently the answer is no, unequivocally no.
