92sl bottom end in 96 sl

are there any reasons why i couldnt use my 92 sl2 bottom end(of engine) with my 96 head in my 96 sl2 body all are twin cams but im just not sure if i can do it the way i want to try to and rather than just try maybe someone else knows?

you should really avoid 91-92 years. 91-92 need their pcm because the crank is different for the crank sensor. really need to stay away from them.
