DRAG CAR CONTEST: Time to vote!!!

Ok, its finally that time. We only ended up with 4 entries. But we owe it to those four to put this thing to a vote. Even if you know nothing about drag cars or drag racing, you ALL know something about modelling and can spot a good build when you see one, so take the time and vote!
Here is how it will work. For the people's choice we will use the same format as the AFMOTY, with one exception. You will be voting for 1-4 not 1-3. Please PM me your votes. I am also going to have this Judged as well. I'm waiting on a Response from my judges to confirm their availability. I plan on keeping the peoples choice voting open for 2 weeks. Unless votes just stop coming in. On to the care. I will post one picture and a link. Please browse the link if you have not already and admire the work put into these machines!

Just to straighten out the voting for the new guys. All you need to do is to place the 4 cars in order first through fourth. Whichever you feel deserves each spot.

Here is how it stands as of FEB 6 (only 9 votes received, also contestants are allowed to vote).
(I will update this as I receive enough votes for updates. PM all your friends in the modelling forum and tell them to vote!)
SkylineFan-31
Jurva-25
white97ex-22
Tigeraid-11
If there is any doubt in the tallies, I will have a mod audit my private messages if that is possible.
Looks like we are having a run away for the win. That second spot is up for grabs though.

voting is really slow on this thing. only 8 votes turned in so far.
This is the way that it will be weighted.
The judges decisions will be given the same point system as the peoples votes. However, in the end, the judges votes will be weighted 60% and peoples choice will be 40%
Keep those votes rolling in....please?

The Results are in!!!!
1st place: Skylinefan
2nd place: Jurva
3rd place: white97ex
4th place: tigeraid
once My build is removed that makes tigeraid #3. Congratulations to everyone. I'll try and come up with a little something for everyone for their efforts and to commemorate the event. Thank you to every one who entered, and everyone who made that last push to the finish. Thank you to our judges and everyone who voted. This wasn't quite the success we had hoped for but I trust that it was fun for all that participated. I have posted an excel document that did all of the calculations for the total votes and the weighted total. Notice that the totals weren't affected by the weights (I changed from 60% judge and 40% people's choice to 40% judge and 60% people's choice). enjoy. I'll pm shuberT and see if he is still going to do a sig for the winner.
hmmm....this board isn't quite like my others. I can't attach a file. I'll have to host it somewhere for people to see. Or I can e-mail it to anyone who wants to take a look.

Any reason you're pulling out of the contest? I'm gracious, regardless...
Did the pro guys do any judging?

its the proper thing to do. Had there been a mediator, someone to accept and tally the votes for me, I would have stayed in. I'm not sure what the prizes will be as of yet. I've got to cover my bills for the month and see what my budget is like. I might try and pick up a kit for each one of you. Just something to say thank you for participating and to make it worth the effort. probably a 10 or 15 dollar cap though for each person. Throw out some ideas. I also tossed around the idea of seeing what It would cost to have some plaques made.

As did I. Think up whatever you feel is best, I was just happy to finally work up the courage to compete in a contest--I'll be in many more from now on! :)
