Well my 01 impala LS has just turned over to 96,000 miles and for about the last thousand miles my rotors have been warped which i am waiting to repair but after the long drive to chicago my car has developed a new issue, after i had just gotten an alignment on my car when i drive my car over 50mph it shakes violently through the steering wheel and gas pettle and shakes more when i accelerate, some peopel have suggested it could be my transmission but i was wondering if it could be something simpler like a tire outta round or somethin of that sort. if anyone could help me find out what the problem is or make any suggestions that would be really helpful!
Thanks

when others ahve complained about this same problem, their solution was getting new motor mounts. you can either go to stock, or upgrade and get these

they are stiffer and will transfer a little more noise so you amy notice that in your car, but its not supposed to be anything outragous.

First thing to check is the tires. If they are ok then check cv joints, motormounts,or wheelbearings. It is possible you lost a wheel weight.

i'll bet you any amount of money its your front wheel bearings. Does it feel like your, almost, running over rumble strips? i changed my both front hubs and it reduced dramatically. Put the car up on jacks and grab the wheel at the top and bottom and pull in and out(not side to side or up and down, try to pivot the wheel) if the wheels have any play then they're prob bad. Its a pretty involved job so if you need to do anything to the suspension have it done then. I still have slight vibration so im gonna replace the rear hubs, i hope that solves it.
