I have an 01 Impala LS and I am need of a shift indicator for it.This is the console shift indicator. The dealer wants an arm and a leg and I don't see too many LS models in the bone yard-yet.
email --- [email protected] if you have a unbroken clean used one to sell.

I Have A impala that had split bench seats and a console shift, I replaced Them With Bucket Seats And A Center Console With A Floor Shift, You Need To Get The Shift Cable with the shifter because it needs to be longer than the console one. As far as the indicator it is in the dash and it will work on the floor too.

Hi guys,
I need the indicator for the console floor shift application.Mine got cracked and soon fell apart. It is simple enough to replace just hate to pay the 90+ dollars for it from the dealer. Once the shift handle is removed ,then remove the top part of the console, the indicator easily comes off after 4 attachment clips are unfastened.
Thanks,
ronvb

ahh, that little piece of platic that has the gear labels on it.
well, your best bet might be to find the entire flor shifter assembly on ebay (ive seen a couple a few days ago), then just take that 1 peice, I saw them going to like $15 - $25 I think. Or a junkyard, but they will just be selling the entire assembly too.

Yes thats the part.I have been watching ebay, even put it in my search there, but have not seen one yet.
At the junkyards here, I have only seen 9c1 versions with column shift.
Thanks anyway,

I saw a TOTALED LS on a ramp truck in the Boston Mass area last week.So if you search the boneyards in that area someone has it.

Not really ronvb .You just have to call one of the major boneyards in the area and ask him to find it.Most of them are networked together.I am sure you could find that car easily once the insurance company totals it and it gets on the sheet. And i and am sure it was totaled.I noticed it because it looked exactly like my black 01 LS.It was stoved in in the front end a real hard hit.
