Cow tipping?

Is cow tipping possible or just some kinda myth? i've never thought of it before.. :screwy:

I'm sure you can't just "tip" them over, you're going to need some force to push that much mass over onto it's side.

Yeah but i just found some statement saying cows sleep layed down, and and weigh too much to be tipped over even if standing (2100lbs or something)

Yeah, you can only get one normally unless there's a bunch of people and you all time it to tip more than one. BUt once they wake up and stir, run! if it's like a herd.

I've never done it, but I think it's a myth. Something that weighs a ton is going to be pushed over easily at all.

yes,it is posable ive done it a few times.most cows do sleep laying down but a few sleep standing.all you have to do is get three or four people ride around till you find one walk up (from behind),it also helps to find one near the out side of the herd,get next to it everyone at the same time pushes in the ribs with your soulder and over it goes.i also dont think if anyone says they did it when they were drunk are probly lieing because it takes some planing and cordination

It's very possible, just make sure you run before you wake up the farmer or you'll get shot at. You wanna give them a really good shove but once you do take off running. Also...make sure it's not pregnant, a show cow, or a bull.

well i learnd fist hand when you wake a sleeping cow by pushing it over..........they can run the 40 yard sprint pretty fast


oh and if you do find yourself in a feild tipping a cow wach your step sliping in a fresh cow pattie can be a BITCH

P.S. Cows are fast, cows can kick hard, and yes cows can really fuck you up.

Yes they are. I've broke a walking cane over one and it didn't hurt it that much. (don't even think about bitching me out, it was a dumbass cow that deserved it and broke the damn door of the milk barn)

A group of my friends tried to do this about a month ago, but when they got to the cow, it was awake and just stared at them...so they went home.

yea its a hard thing to master i dont know how many times we tried and only acomplished or mission a few times

Even if the cow doesn't get injured, I'm pretty sure they would rather not be tipped. I have to wonder about any person who thinks this would be fun. It certainly doesn't sound like fun for the cow.

I've seen cows do things that looked like they hurt a lot more by themselves. So I don't think some people rolling one over will do any harm to it.

My mates parents own a farm, and they once had a cow killed because some one had tipped it. The cow landed on some rocks and broke its ribs. Punctured a lung or something.

yeah, i'm sure people have died rolling off their couches while sleeping too. i would probably have to say that's the exception, not the rule.

moral of the story, make sure the cow you're tipping is going to land on grass, not rocks

I forget where somewhere around India. Tribes keep herds of cow tih them as they move but in a ritual that they do they poke the cow in the side with a stake and drink the blood that comes out. The cow didn't show any signs of pain and kept milling around doing it's usuall business. The tribe then bandaged it up so it wouldn't die.
If that didn't hurt the cow then I don't think tipping one would. I find it highly(but not totally) impossable to tip them considering how easily startled they are even when sleeping. I know because I used to go to cow fields for "nature walks" or as some of you know it as shrooming.

Yes you can tip a cow, and yes it takes more than one or two people to do it. And you damn well better make sure there isn't a bull around.

i prefer tipping oreo cows because you can see them a little better at night,and they dont seem to spoke that easy
