well the motor and hranes and all of that is looking to be about 850, but i don't know yet, cuz i want the whole motor and every thing but i am just going to rip it down and rebuild it, so it will be so far $850 for engine and what ever fuel pump is going to cost and fuel lines. And parts, so will probly be every bit of $2,000 project. But i think i am just going to put motor in with headers in and exhaust, and some simple stuff, and then later when i have more money and when it gets more miles i will rip it down. And i got to inclued my shift kit and torque converter in that price. So i think it will be about $1,300 with every thing with out rebuliding the motor.

it would be sweet if you could get it done for $1300....i know like was mentioned before....i'm going to run into every problem imaginable and will probably end up doubling what i expect to spend

Ls2 Cost Like 10k For The Motor, If You Got That Kind Of Money Just Have Some One Else Do T6HE SWAP FOR YOU And Give Them A Deadline On The Contract.

thats a good point but i enjoy doing the work myself....i've modded the hell out of the car now, pretty much everything short of the engine...so that seems to be the next logical step....thats a really good idea because i know i'll screw everything up but i'll feel better about it after i do it myself.

I No What Your Saying, But In This Case I Think It Would Be Best To Have Someone That Could Probly Picture The Swap Getting Done In There Head. Also It Worries Me To Much That I Wont Do The Swap On My Car Is The Electrical Work. I Dont Know If You Thought About It Wet But Youl Have To Get A New Harness And Rewire Everything In The Whole Car, Power Seat Window Gadge Cluster Lights Things Like That.
I Am Thinking Of Getting The Lt1 Swap Done On My Car. Im Just A Little Worried Because My Car Has 51000miles Onit Now The Motor And Parts/wrecked Car Would Have 54000miles On It. I Dont Know If The Wrecked Car Was Raced Or Beat All The Time Price I Could Get It Done Would Be Around 2500 To 3000 Dollars. What Would You Do If You Were In My Shoes(im Still Not Sure)

All the accessorys get powered up the same way. Thats not a major source of concern. The guage's would involve some splicing and the scan terminal would involve some splicing as well but with a diagram of a LT1 motor and a body wiring diagram of your year vehicle its just a matter of matching stuff up. The stuff like power windows, radio , security system, power locks and so on are all run directly off the a power supply from your battery. Which won't change.

you can get wiring harnesses all labeled and can find some diagrams online where everything gets plugged up. personally i love my car and even tho it's more work and probably more money, i like my car.

I Think He Is Trying To Say That When Rouda Types Like This, It Is Annoying As All Hell. Which It Is.
HOWEVER A CAPSLOCK RECOMMENDATION MIGHT NOT BE IN OUR BEST INTEREST.
See what I mean? Rouda, that means don't capitalize every word you type.

well, i think i have made my choice, i am just going to do a few mods on the 305, and run it for a while till i get some more money and i am thinking of getting a 350 tbi engine, so it will bolt right up with out haveing to do tons of wire crap, wright? and here is one i will probly get when i get the money. And i will probly put diffrent heads on it and a 454 intake. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/350-Chevy-315hp-417tq-TBI-Roller-Cam-High-Perf-Engine_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33615QQitemZ8033 844206QQrdZ1

A 454 intake will not fit. Two totally different engines.

ops, i ment the 454 tbi carb, they will fit with a aftermarket intake won't they? and i was also going to do a nos kit like this one. And i was going to ask, when i do the 350 tbi switch, do i have to change any thing on it? like fuellines fuel pump, or wireing hranes? here is the kit i probly get when i do it, it will not be the same on, but i do want oe that size. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nitrous-Works-350-TBI-50-125-HP-Nitrous-oxide-kit_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33740QQitemZ8033268 518QQrdZ1

I'd stick with the TBI unit for the engine, but that's just me. In a way, a TBI unit is a carburetor, just fully computer-controlled. Too many people overcarb their engines and wonder why they fall flat. Also, I don't have experience with the 454 version, so I am not aware if they have the same flange.
Aside from that, the swap should be fairly straight-forward. The only thing you will need to do is obtain the proper ROM for the 350 vs. the 305. Well, that and a knock sensor for a 350. Lines, harness, etc are the same between the two engines.

sweet, i was getting a custome prom any ways, so i think while i have it out i will put a diffrent torque converter on with a diffrent stall. But if i do the nos, do you think i should upgrade my fuel pump? and i am picking up a posie rear with disk brakes and 3.73's in it for $250. good deal!!
