:banghead: I have a 90 civic DX hatch with a B-18 5 speed from a 91 integra. I dont know the history of the swap...(problem #1) Tried to replace the distributer.... what a nightmare... civic piece doesnt work and the integra piece throws a crank angle code?? re-man distributer.

We have tried 3 distributers on this car. It would fire on 2 of them, but not rev past 3000 rpm, then throw a code:banghead:

the original dost is a TD-23-U with sqaure plugs.... re-mans come with round plugs????:banghead:

Thanks in advance for any help:)

First off why you replacing the dizzy (just want to get some more info)?

TD23U dizzy Should be round(connectors). 89 integra dizzy,TD03U is square(cam round).

You got B18A1 or B18B1?

Is crank angle only code?

Got any pics of dizzy with square connectors?

It is a B18A1.

Crank angle is only code... I cant image both dizzy that will run the car have bad crank angle sensors??

Car had no throttle responce, found metal shavings under the cap...

I will have pics by sat afternoon...

Car is testing my patience

Thanks

assuming the dizzy has been replaced with known working good ones, the problem lies in the shielded wire leads or the ecu.
