a question

I can not find another place to post this
I use to live in a town house, where it was not allowed to work on cars in the parking lots. I may have to return to the town house life ... or apartment. So I was wondering are there any townhouses out there or apartments that let you work on your car(s). Or a way around it.

There probably are townhouses out there that allow this type of activity, just check over the lease conditions before you decide which one to move into. My mother-in-law lives in such a place with those types of restrictions, but everytime we go to visit her, I see resident working on their vehicles. So the other question is how well is that restriction enforced. The same goes for the restriction of not having unregistered vehicles on the premises. Where my mother-in-law lives, that too is poorly enforced.
