03 Winstar Break Light Assembly

I removed the 2 screws, but now what? I dont want to break anyting by forcing it out. What is the correct way to remove the break light assembly for replacement?

For my '96
Instructions say to remove the 2 screws, as you did.
Then to grasp the lens assembly and gently pry lens out at a 45 degree angle at the lower outboard edge.
You may have to rock the lens to release the pins at the outboard edge of the lens.
