My friends saturn SC2 was jerking then i replaced the spark plugs and air filter then it quit. Now its doing it again. I dont think that its the torque converter actually im praying its not the torque converter. Could it be the wires? how do i know if the wires are dead? any information would be helpful thank you.

1. Check your cables, make sure these are making a proper connection at both ends, the coils and the spark plugs.
2. Check your firing sequence. You might want to use a Haines Manual for this project and maybe future ones. You can get one at Autozone for $12.99
3. If after doing the previous two tests it does not improve, Buy new cables. Chances are you might need to replace them. Autozone has the cheapest if you are tight on cash.
Hope this helps. Good luck!

it depends on if you want quality or just run the risk you will have the same problem or wire not last.
