this is basicvlaly a repost of a thread i made a few seconds ago. call it spaming or whatever it is you want, but not everyone goes to only the cougar section of this forum, and rust is a time sensitive matter so to speak.

but basicaly the car has been under 8 feet of water, and it's been dry for 3-4 months since.

It's a 1972 cougar XR-7
it's got beautiful body lines.
righ now as far as i've seen it's the ONLY '72 hardtop cougar in new orleans
and we just tested the crankshaft, and it's all good so why would I get rid of it?
