Window Help

I've got a 96 Sable that I'm having issues with the front door windows(on both driver and passenger sides)with. It almost seems like when I move the windows into the up position they go too far up. You can see the trim around the window shift slightly just before the window reaches it's stop at the top. This apparently causes the window to not seal properly and when I drive down the road it sounds like the window is down just a fraction. Now that it's cold and snowy out I've got to run the defrost almost non-stop to keep windows clear. If I play around with the window and stop it just short of being all the way up it sounds and seals better so I was wondering if there was a way to adjust the travel lenght of the window? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks...

It is possible that your window seals are worn.
