Steering wheel knocks when I turn the wheel

I'm not sure what the problem is but the knocking happens when I turn the wheel. At first it happened only to the left now it happens both ways and it's beginning to squeal and it's hard to turn.

Have you checked your power steering fluid level? Maybe the pump itself is bad.

Trying to increase your exposure? Did you contact the Lincoln service dept. yet?
